Waiting For My Promotion

I have been working at the bank for five years now and I am still waiting for my promotion. They told me when I started that I would be able to get a better position in a couple of months, but so far it has been five years I have not even gotten a raise. I want to save up some money to buy some English saddles, but these people are not making it easy for me. I talked to my boss last week and I told him that if I don't get a raise soon i would have to take some drastic measures.
Big News Around Town

Last night while I was walking my dog around the neighborhood I saw many police cars outside a local store. I was pretty surprised because this is a very small town and nothing like this ever happens. When I got closer to the scene on of my friends was there and he told me that some people that were not from the town broke into the store and wanted to take some western saddles. This was shocking news because we all know each other in this town and it was something unexpected. Luckily the police got here on time and they were not able to take anything.
