The cave is privately owned in Pevely mo. a lot of poeple have memories in it. slaves used to hide in it while being transported, but theres no prewf so trying Nock below. is so beautiful, has about four tunnels and three great Sqaure entrence. i'v never been in the tunnels, because there all biocked off. So what should I do?

I think there are three resources (federally at least) to help save his cave. If you can find some record of use of the cave as a refuge for slaves, or as part of the Railroad Underground, the National Trust for Historic Preservation would be very interested in helping to save this landmark.
